The the older I get the more I realize that sometime life genuinely has the greatest sense of humor of all time

And that moment was never more prevalent than when I was in Columbia with a friend of mine

Because he procrastinated so long on a project it ended up biting him in the butt and here's what happened

So we fly out there together and it's partially my fault because I am always trying to force him to arrange his schedule around when I can travel

So sometimes he'll have to cut a project short and get it done at a different time so he can fly out with me

So we get there the very first day and he's like listen

I have this really big project do for this really big network and it's a really big deal

Regardless of what I do do not let me leave this trip without getting this project done

And he does voiceovers. He does production and it's for a commercial and it's a really big network

So it's a really big deal and they want him to film this commercial with just him in it

And he's just speaking to the camera he's speaking about the brand he's speaking about the product delivering the commercial and getting it out

And so the first day goes by and we're like all right. Let's do it today. Let's knock it out

Let's get it done the first day. We ended up not doing it. We're like, we'll do it after this drink that didn't happen

Of course not right like the worst idea ever one drink and then we'll get our stuff done

There's no such thing as one drink never especially in Columbia, right?

So we have the first drink. We like all right. We'll get to it tomorrow

Tomorrow comes let's just go to the beach first

What do you want we get back the third day

Same exact thing. We ended up going out. We don't get it done

So now it's the fourth day. It's literally due I think he said he had to have it in by like seven pm or something like that

And if it's late then he gets docked. They lose money. It's a big deal
