Oh man. So today we're talking about a question that Weinab helps you answer. The question

is, can I afford this? Sometimes we say that this is the scariest question in the entire

world because it's a question that we have to ask ourselves every single day, multiple

times a day, whenever we buy something, can I really afford this? And it doesn't just

mean, do I have the money for it? It means, do I want to spend this money that I have

on this thing right now? Is there something more important that I'm not considering?

I would say for most Weinabbers, especially Weinabbers listening to this podcast, it's

not a math question at all. There's probably thousands of dollars, you know, thousands upon

thousands sitting in their checking account right now.

You Weinabbers are to sit in on a pile of cash. I mean, you have the money to basically

buy whatever you want. So you're not asking, do I actually have the dollars and cents

for this purchase? There's some other question going on in your head.

That's the question of opportunity costs. My favorite economic term that I love to talk

about. You do love talking about this. And I always forget, explain opportunity cost

to me once again. So the idea is the true cost of purchasing something is not the amount
