Are you open enough?

It's an interesting question, isn't it?

Because I feel as if in this day and age,

we're encouraged to not be very open.

And by open, I mean in real life with other human

beings it can feel dangerous we can feel as if we're a risk we always think or it's very

easy to think you can't trust people, you might not

want to open up yourself up to anything that could be uncomfortable or detrimental to you somehow.

And I have to say, as someone who loves people,

I think that we've almost lost something.

And of course we always want to be safe,

we want to make sure that we're taking care of ourselves,

that our personal safety is never at risk, but I wonder in this age of everyone being on their phone all the time sticking largely to online communities

and of course you know after the last couple of years we're not as socially out there right

I think a lot of our routines have just changed. Maybe we do eight things in a day and see a lot of people. And increasingly, we don't see that many people now. Maybe we've changed along with, know lots of others and I believe that there is

something that you know I say you know we lost something, but I do think that we're missing out when we fail to be open.

And I want to share with you a quick story that happened a few years ago to my husband and I when we were actually visiting

Miami as people who lived in New York, right?

So it's very common to come to gorgeous Miami for a weekend. If live in a cold estate especially during the winters.

And one time Heath and I was staying, actually at the time this is interesting, I had my corporate job and I actually asked to manage the

Southeast market so if I could come to Miami. And so I'd always love to do business trips that involve meetings on Fridays or Mondays so that I could fly for free,
