Luke chapter 10 is where we're going to be. I want to be in verse 38, and we're going to just finish out the chapter to verse 42.

But I have on the screen, I've entitled this message, this one thing, this one thing.

And most of you maybe have read this section in scripture. It is only found in Luke's gospel.

No other gospel mentions this scripture,

but it has to do with two sisters and Jesus. And we meet these sisters again in John's gospel,

but it's a totally different story. And this one is very unique to Luke's gospel. And Lord put this on

my heart, because I think it's good for us to kind of just

unwind, settle our hearts, and see what God has for us. Maybe it's been a busy week or a busy

month, a busy season. We're all technically busy at times. And Jesus has something for us tonight on what to do about that and how to not get lazy,

but also not get too busy. So let's see what he has for us for today. But I want to read Luke's

Gospel chapter 10, verse 38. We'll pray and then we'll go through this, dissect it together.

So I'm reading out of the NIV, and Luke

1038, it says, as Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman

named Martha opened her home to him. This is the village of Bethany. She had a sister called Mary,

who sat at the Lord's feet, listening to what he said.

But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.

She came to him and asked, Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself?

Tell her to help me.

Martha, Martha, the Lord answered, you are worried and upset about many things,

but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

Let's pray. Lord Jesus, would you just speak to us tonight? Would this be your words,

not mine? Would we just settle our hearts? And as we are going to talk about how to be busy for you,
