Congratulations. You took this time of your day to set aside a few moments to forget about worries and cares and recognize that your being is more important than you're doing. And you are taking time to simply sit and be with God.

You've made a wonderful decision.

Today we're going to talk about and pray about power.

I remember when I first had toddlers and they were three wonderful, beautiful, crazy toddlers

running around the house thinking, how am I going to have enough energy to get to the end

of the day?

And beyond that, thinking, how am I going to be able to be these kids' mom for their entire

life?

How am I going to have energy and selflessness to keep going?

Have you ever felt that way?

Have you ever wondered how you're going to have the energy to sustain your job for the rest of your life?

Or to get through your entire school career?

Or maybe you've wondered, will I have enough to stay married

to my spouse or be faithful for my whole life?

I feel like these are very normal human questions.

Am I enough?

Will I have enough?

Will I be enough?

In fact, the ancient Italians living in Rome must have had the same questions.

Because in one of the letters, the ancient apostle Paul wrote to this group of people,

and he reminded them in Romans 8 verses 9 to 11 that the spirit of Jesus dwells in you.

And once that is established, if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in you,
