0:39.6	a journalist had tried to write about Epstein years and years ago. So he said he was astonished
0:46.7	that he was the only journalist who thought to call all the people in the little black book.
0:54.1	And how did he get his hands on the little black book?
0:56.8	Well, he writes about this. So Epstein's butler at the time evidently kept this little black book
1:03.8	as an insurance policy. He said that he thought that Epstein was going to make him disappear
1:10.0	because he was very involved in covering up
1:13.4	and cleaning up after Epstein's abuses in the home. So he kept this little black book as
1:21.9	insurance policy. And evidently, he did not reveal it to investigators when they were investigating Epstein's crimes.
1:30.9	Instead, he tried to sell the book and got caught. He ended up serving 18 months in jail
1:38.3	as a result of this. Ironically, he ended up in jail longer than Epstein. He died shortly after that from cancer.
1:46.8	This little black book ended up on the black market, and Leland Nally snatched it up.
1:53.1	He then made a few phone calls. He called Melania Trump's personal cell phone, according to what was written on this book.
2:01.9	He also sent a text to David Koppurfield saying, we need to talk about Epstein.
2:07.5	He then got a restricted phone number call back, somebody claiming to be the FBI saying,
2:14.7	you're making fraudulent phone calls.
2:16.5	And he says, this is what led him to believe
2:19.3	that he was on the right track. He then makes phone call after phone call after phone call.
