| 0:32.2 | actually in terms of for those of us like yourselves campaigning outside of Israel for a peaceful |
| 0:38.8 | and just settlement which ends a horror which goes back many decades. What things maybe that you |
| 0:45.6 | think it's important to say including what happened on the 7th of October? I think it's important |
| 0:53.6 | to remember that it showed in the clearest way possible that we are all victims of this reality |
| 1:00.7 | that what happened on the 7th of October was a just horrific event to many families in Israel. |
| 1:11.7 | Families that some of them actually worked for peace for so many years. Some of them |
| 1:18.1 | working against occupation being a very clear voice against it and since then we're in this |
| 1:24.6 | state of a trauma, a state of collective shock and it's been so difficult for so many of us to |
| 1:32.9 | try and navigate the complexities and the moment after the 7th of October talking as a peace |
| 1:39.1 | activist and as a citizen in Israel that is working against the occupation and to bring Jews |
| 1:46.8 | and Palestinian citizens of Israel to cooperate and to struggle for equality. The space to do that |
| 1:55.8 | has narrowed down dramatically since the 7th of October. A lot of people that are not bad people, |
| 2:04.8 | normal people, people that have voted for the left even in the last decade have been shattered |
| 2:12.9 | by what Hamas did and a lot of people have lost hope and it's a very sad moment in our society. |
| 2:21.5 | Can I spot sort of pressures you're currently under as peace activists whether from I guess the states |
| 2:26.2 | but also from a public opinion which has shifted markedly in a very particular direction? |
