Who's starting in week one? This is definitely going to be Kyler. Kyler could have chose to sign with any team he wanted to. He wants the guarantees of signing or being able to start this year. So

he can sign a long-term deal because this is a one year, one million dollar contract. He needs to pony up for a big season for a big payday in 2027.

So I'm pretty sure he got guarantees that he's going to start here.

Even in the days leading up to this when before Kyler, you know, visited the Vikings and

got a physical and all this stuff, Tom Pelliserra reported that Kyler planned to Zoom with

executive from three to five teams that potentially have a

quarterback need in 2027.

That means that not only is,

Kyler hoping for a good 2026.

His eyes are already on the next season.

And either who was going to give him a long-term contract or basically who was guaranteeing him

playing time because you weren't getting paid at a high, high rate in 2027 if you don't

perform here in 2026. So I am certain that that has been part of the conversation here with

Kevin O'Connell and whoever the interim general manager is at this point of, well, if I'm signing here, I'm going to be playing here or else I will go sign somewhere else where I can actually play. I do think one of those teams, probably the Rams who might not have Matthew Stafford is, hey, Sean McFay, just next year, keep in mind, watch some of my tape this year. And I think Cliff Kingsbury on that coaching staff at that very moment. Yeah, yeah. Is that a good thing or bad thing? I think they like each other, but maybe they don't. Okay, good.
