Yes, Rashad White joins Bill Kroski Merritt in the backfield at this moment. And we've seen a lot of running backs be signed over the first three days of free agency. Where does Rashad White fit with the commanders? I think it's pretty straightforward. He's been a receiving back. I would say he's one of the most reliable receiving backs in the NFL. We saw like the best of it was in the screen game with Liam Cohen. And but even last year in a full committee, he's still a really awesome pass protector. I think his awareness is really strong. He's got the size. He just knows where he's going to be. And there's obviously a little familiarity going back to the sun devil days next to Jaden Daniels. And obviously having good pass protection for Jaden Daniels who struggled to stay on the field I do think matters he can handle some rushing stuff as well he's just not going to be a home run threat but we have seen

in glimpses and especially going back to Arizona State he can handle enough touches in

a short stint to be like a bell cow whenever needed it still feels like this commander's

backfield is in flux

like we heard all of the hype of bill during preseason and he had some moments during then

and in the early parts of the season then he like really flourished in a couple games but you kind

of had to watch to pay attention and predict it to happen and then as a season went along they

went to a three back committee with Bill,

with Chris Rodriguez, who's now departed and Jeremy McNichols.

And the overlap in the skill sets between Bill and Rashad White to me are like

drastically different.

Like if we just look at this past season for Bill, he only had six carries on third down and zero targets

on third down and nothing on fourth down and if we go back to let's say 2024 for rashad white

because that's when he and bucky like really split the backfield it was a lot of rashad white

on third and fourth down he was the dude that was relied upon,

was trusted in those situations. And so not only do I think the skill sets work when pairing

together if this is the final outcome of the backfield, it also kind of probably gets rid of

someone like Jeremy McNichols that really simplifies this from a fantasy lens for us into again if this is the final form a two back backfield versus a three which makes it way more complicated to pretty yeah but this also doesn't prevent them from doing the Jeremiah love thing at seventh overall because Rashad White would be a great compliment to Jeremiah Love and kind of just take some things off. In that case, you can literally kick Bill Kroski-Maritch. Of course. And they absolutely wouldn't. Bill might be just the long-term number three.
