I faced I'm a friend of mine the other day.

We caught up for the first time this new year,

and she spent the holidays in Europe with her family.

And as we face timed, I saw she was wearing this really cool sweater, purple with like diamonds

on it.

It looked really different and cute.

And I said to her, I love your sweater. Where's that from? And she said to her I love your sweater.

Where's that from?

And she said to me, oh my gosh,

and I was visiting my family.

I decided to knit this.

And she's not mega experienced in this, but you couldn't tell because the outcome was so beautiful.

But she said, look, I had a lot of time at home and I had time to just kind of relax,

so I thought I'd create this gorgeous sweater, why not? If out well great if it didn't also like you know who cares because the experience itself is fun

but she said that she made this sweater over the holidays using the best wool that she could find.

And as she spoke about finding the wool, the fact that the wool is from Iceland, the fact that

somehow the sweater still smells like sheep. She is in this state of joy like a child talking about the joy of making this sweater, the outcome, her learning, how knitting is just, you know, one stitch

at a time, it really teaches you patience and presence, leading to this glorious outcome. I was enthralled just listening to her talk about the joy of making

this gorgeous purple sweater with Icelandic wool, the scent that she can still, there still lingers the joy she feels wearing

her own creation and I thought to myself and I'm like gotta do a part on this

what do you think happiness is my friends what do you think happiness is my friends? What do you think happiness is?
