which I highly recommend, Steve, that if you can, get a book about technology that's like

10 years old, which is exactly what Kevin Kelly's book is.

And listen to how they were talking about the things that we now know

and experience, and we can look back on in hindsight. Listen to how they were talking about them 10 years.

Fascinating stuff. Anyway, the inevitable in one chapter, Steve, deals with the idea of

all of these shared services that we now engage in, everything from YouTube

where essentially it's content created by users or Facebook the same thing, or ride share

companies like Uber or Lyft or Airbnb, which is essentially a hotel that's everywhere

all the time and is a shared resource.

And Steve Kelly explores the idea that these sort of peer-to-peer distributed, decentralized

networks of services in everything now in our age, 10 years later we have even more of this,

constitutes an ecosystem of individuals who are kind of pooling their assets as a commons

that everybody can share. And we have this sort of massive communal participation in these trust networks that are shared

around the globe and it has become Stephen a kind of if not you know organized but chaotic

voluntary socialism that's not socialism.
