There's always new noise here that I have to compete with to get this message out without noise.

The message itself is noise.

But it's contrast for the silence.

There's a woodpecker that's right outside the front of the house. You know,

ironically, where I record is called the mud room. And I didn't even realize that until like a

couple days ago. It's in the garage, at the back of the garage, and it opens out to the ocean.

But it's called a mud room. And all I could think of was that's where

lotus has come from, so it's where he sprout up from. And so on the other side of the mudroom

door is going towards the street, there is a post, a light post. And I have heard a woodpecker

out there about the same times every day, but definitely

when it's time to record, he's already recording. He's already drilling. When I sit down to pray,

to chant, he's chanting. He's drilling down further. He's persistent. I hear him, even when I'm not seated in formal prayer.

This practice keeps me in mind. It wakes me back up to mine because in truth, I'm not chanting.

I'm hearing and joining in on the grand one that's been going on since before time, since before this birth and seeming time.

And yes, it sounds like me. It is and it isn't. You are and you aren't. Right now, your outer circumstances haven't caught up to your inner revelation, to your inner light.

The mirror lags there. The web page loads slow. All that you see is just the exhaust of the

engine of the name that is eternal. It's smoke and it's clearing. You're beginning to see more of reality, more morality.

But it's still the veil.

It's still all illusion.

It's Maya.

Right Maya.

On that body's hand today, in the webbing between its forefinger and thumb.
