And hi, everybody. Welcome back to the Bill Bennett show. Thoughtful conversation about

0:09.0

the news of the day, and we try to address the existential threats to America, and I think

0:13.8

there are some. Joining us today, Brian Kennedy and Joel Farcus. Brian Kennedy is president

0:19.2

of the American Strategy Group. He's also the chairman of the Committee on the Present

0:23.8

Danger China. Joel Farcus is the director of the American Strategy Group. I am a fellow

0:29.1

at the American Strategy Group in Washington, so a lot of American Strategy Group today,

0:34.2

convening of the group. First few things I'd like to discuss.

0:38.0

So Claude, what is your sense of the country? Make me feel better. I have a feeling the country

0:42.4

is about to come apart. Yeah, I guess it may depend on how you define

1:13.4

in the fact that we can't have transgender athletes playing in sports with, you know,

1:19.8

transgender men with biological men or transgender women with biological women. I think that

1:25.0

might be the closest point of agreement. Have you seen the numbers? Excuse me, there are

1:30.1

majorities for what you're saying. They don't think transgender men should be able to compete

1:35.9

against women, but it's not 90, 10 or 80, 20. It's 65, 35. And I think that's because it's still,

1:45.0

as far as, you know, for the most part, in main stream, it's just, you know, League of Thompson

1:51.8

swimming and no one else is pretty much aware of anything else. I think if it becomes a big deal

1:58.6

and we see more cases, then I think you'll see the numbers go larger. You'll see at 80, 20, 85, 15.
