I'm Dan Weissman. I'm a reporter and I like a challenge. So my job on this show is to take one of the most enraging, terrifying, depressing parts of American life and bring you a show that's entertaining, empowering, and useful.

I'm not going to lie. We can't win them all. But it turns out, we don't have to lose them all

either. I was so determined. Like, I was not going to go through all of this for nothing.

You have to be willing to tell people in authority sometimes that you believe they're wrong.

I'm not scared of these fools.

It's like reading their postscript in a Dickens novel almost.
