Hello, friends and neighbors, and welcome back to the Bill Press Pod, and welcome to this week's roundtable.

History is made every day in Washington, D.C., but history is made in a very big way this week.

For only the third time in history,

the House of Representatives presented to the United States Senate articles of impeachment against

the President of the United States. Whereupon, with all members sworn in by the Chief Justice

of the Supreme Court, the Senate began its solemn duties of deciding

whether or not the President should be removed from office. Actual testimony begins on Tuesday.

It was such a historical moment. Even jaded members of Congress seem struck by the solemnity

of the moment.

And oh, by the way, meanwhile, this week, two new trade deals were approved.

Democrats held yet another debate.

Virginia approved the ERA and the entire Russian government resigned.
