ooh you know what I found out today that uh

blew my mind and maybe this is just me being really ignorant but I

had no idea that Olympians got paid if they won gold medals like I had no idea that they got paid

I thought they just did it for the love of the sport I'm not gonna going to lie I didn't know that either. I thought

it was all endorsements and sponsorships. Yeah you know. After the fact and they made

it like a good chunk of change afterwards how much they how much they get paid if they

win? So let me tell you so the US actually doesn't pay as much as other countries which I found to be pretty shocking

But if you think about it like Simone Biles is doing just fine with endorsements and stuff and you know she could start a podcast if she wanted because she's becoming so

popular just with the American people where it might be a little bit different in

other countries maybe they don't have the kind of endorsement deals that could

get them the kind of money that most Americans can get if they have the notoriety

that like a Michael Phelps could have. So the payout for the USA

athletes if they win gold, do you want to take a guess and how much it is?
