between the ages of seven and 13,

lived by a train track, no matter how much energy I had,

when the train would start coming from the distance

that I could hear it, I would be unconscious.

And in a lot of ways, I think that has benefited me

tremendously in hindsight, because if I needed to go to sleep

right now, I would just have to open the window

and that sound would trigger it.

Sounds impact us on a very deep level

and they could trigger us.
