She faked her own death, but she says it's for a good cause.

So this is all surrounding a social media post that

claimed that an Indian actress had passed away because of cervical cancer,

but then she posted a video of herself saying,

just kidding, no I didn't, I didn't die.

So on Friday, Punam Pandey,

her official Instagram account released a statement saying

that the 32-year-old had bravely fought

cervical cancer and passed away.

So a lot of people are like, this is coming from the horse's mouth, must be legit,

so all the outlets are posting about it, reporting on it, like, oh, this is so sad, this actress, she's passed away.

And then a day later, she posts a video saying that she had faked the whole thing and

it was all a part of a social media campaign to create more awareness for cervical cancer.

I'm alive.

I didn't die because of cervical cancer.

Unfortunately, I cannot say that about those hundreds and houses of women who have lost their lives because of cervical cancer.

It is not because they couldn't do anything about it because they had no idea what to do.

I'm here to tell you that, unlike other cancers, cervical cancer, is preventable.

All you have to do is, you have to get a test done and you have to get H-P-B-B-B-S.
