0:30.9	Our goal is to go a step below that and ask what does scripture reveal. How should we

0:46.0	And let me start asking just broadly speaking,
0:48.8	why does politics matter to Christians?

0:53.0	Well, I think we all should care.

0:57.0	And I think that's, I think for one interest in the political arena is part of being a good citizen,
1:02.0	which the Bible calls us to.
1:04.6	The second reason is that politics is fundamentally a moral enterprise.
1:10.5	And scripture has a lot to say about the moral dimension of how we order our lives together.
1:15.0	That's essentially what politics is about.
