Where does the Bible tell us to think

We take that as an assumption, but what are some of the

key biblical texts that demand that we think biblically about the issues of the day, about

the questions that our culture has for us in the church.

In one sense, it's like a drumbeat or a golden thread through all of the scriptures.

Not only does the scripture model this but it teaches it in the Old Testament

we see it in the New Testament. So of course we go back to the creation story.

We have obviously the Great Commandment later on, but there's this cultural

mandate as well that we see early on. We can unpack that. One of the favorite

passes I just go to is Jesus talks about loving God with your heart and your soul and with your mind and with your
