Hey, L cheaters and welcome to the always cheating podcast. My name is Josh. I'm here with Brandon. Brandon, how are you? Pretty good, Josh. I'm feeling ready to get to work. We were talking just before we hit record, you know.

International break, you have a tendency to switch your FPL brain off a little bit. Maybe you want to recharge the battery.

But we come into this podcast ready to work for Game Week 8.

Yeah, exactly.

The act of getting the podcast together was the act of, like, me retraining my brain.

I mean, you know, part of it is that sports are just interesting again across the board.

That's new.

I felt like last year it was it was all I could do

to follow the Premier League. Even even that like there were no fans in the stands. It was kind of a

60% of the experience, maybe less. And I couldn't really watch anything else. I never really got

to the NBA in the bubble. I never got into, you know, college football without any fans and stance. Like, what's the point of being playing college sports without fan, without, like, college students there, right? It just feels kind of, kind of pointless. A year ago, the best sport was just tracking COVID rates and vaccination availability. Yeah, that's exactly. That's exactly right. So now it's like you can take a week off from the Premier League and FPL and the international matches were good.

The Major League Baseball playoffs started.

College football was awesome yesterday.

So there was a lot of fun stuff.

And, you know, along with like things that don't involve sports, right?

I should I should like nod at that stuff too. But, you know, along with, like, things that don't involve sports, right? I should, I should, like, nod at that stuff, too. But, you know, but primarily coming back this Saturday, I cannot wait. I'm really excited about it. I think I've already, I told you, uh, on the last, I, the last time you and I talked, but yeah, my wife is going to the town this upcoming weekend. So it's me and me in the

five-year-old. So night before, we've got this plan. There's like an outdoor movie. We're

going to do all kinds of stuff together. Thursday night, I've got plans for us to Saturday

and I've got plans. But that Saturday morning, Brandon, that is, that is my child's chance to watch

as much iPad as they can, as they can cram it because then it's going to be focused on Game of Gate where both can recover. We might even go to like separate areas of our apartment. You know, like maybe they'll go up front and I'll be in the back. We're just going to have a few hours to like decompress a little bit. And I'm going to get into Game of Gate. So, yeah, it's all about the screen time. It's about the screen time for the kids and the parents.
