Today we are talking a manager's mixed bag.

Let's hop into it.

So I've been doing a bunch of interviewing recently,

and I feel like, you know, in kind of just the roller coaster that is a business.

I've gone through different stints of time

at Morning Brew where I interview no one for months on end,

and then time where I'm spending 50% of my time interviewing.

I would say right now my time looks more like the

latter where I'm spending probably 30 to 40% of my time in hiring and something I was thinking about today because you know people talk a lot

about their favorite interview questions and I've talked a lot about the importance of

candidates asking smart questions at the end but I wanted to be actually very tactical and share a specific question

that I've been asking of candidates recently that I think is a really valuable question to ask for a number of reasons.

So one of my favorite hiring questions,

and I think you can ask this for any role,

is the following.

What concerns you about this role or our strategy around the product that your role deals with?

So that's the first question.

And then the second question after they've answered that is, okay, so if you are going to end up joining the company let's say you
