One other thing, though, that we have had to learn over the years with keeping chickens

has to do with some traditional advice that you hear a lot of when it comes to chicken

keeping.

And this is one of those things that's like kind of true in a

it depends sort of way. And that is, you know, lots of really strong language around what not

to feed chickens. Don't give them lettuce. Don't give them avocados. Don't give them chocolate.

And yes, those things in high quantity are not good for chickens.

But I think we've learned some lessons about what that might mean.
