In recent years, cities all over the United States have been testing and implementing a relatively new technology, designed to detect gunshots.

The oceanfront right there, a new gunshot detection system is now up and running.

Now they're going to be added to an area of Aldine that has a crime rate that's 60% higher than the national average.
