Summary
When his family moved into a small tract home, nothing about it seemed unusual. It wasn’t old, it didn’t carry any obvious history, and for a while, everything felt exactly the way a new home should. But that changed when the back door started locking from the inside with no one near it—something that shouldn’t have been possible.
At first, it was easy to question. Then it started happening more often.
Not long after, his father began seeing a young boy moving through the house—always the same age, always dressed the same, always walking with a quiet familiarity that didn’t match someone visiting. Others would eventually catch glimpses too, but never at the same time, never long enough to fully explain it.
