Good evening, everybody.

Welcome to Radio Free Mormon. Tonight we're going to talk about a certain fact.

A very important fact, in fact.

But they didn't tell me in the Mormon church.

And there's a possibility that if I had known this fact and it hadn't been kept from me,

I might have split the Mormon church in my 20s instead of decades later.

So this fact is very important to me, and the absence of it was very important to me.

There's no way of saying for sure what would have happened in an alternate reality.

But I found out about this just a week ago from a listener to the show.

And I'll tell you that story as we go along.

First off, I want to tell you in brief thumbnail form,

what it is that this is about, right? It is about a fact that has to do with chiasmus. Now, I hate to say that word chiasmus because the eyes glaze over. We're not talking about chiasmus itself. We're talking about the way it was presented to the world by the man who discovered

chiasmus in the book of Mormon in his name is John Welch. I read a great deal of what he wrote and what others wrote about what he wrote.

I even wrote some things about chiasmus.

It was a hard and fast and beautiful and amazing evidence that the book of Mormon was true.

The problem with chiasmus is twofold.
