whoa, what are you trying to combine or do they just get it ready to go with it right away?

We pitched it without a script, you know, so we, we play like Mary Jane girls and like Earth went

and five. We just went in, put a playlist and just pitched the whole story. So it's like,

because we pitched it without a script and like we pitched it with just a lot of

70s R&B and 80s R&B, people kind of filled in the blanks when we were pitching it.

In this episode, a series of eerie events thrusts an unlikely trio onto the trail of a nefarious government experiment and director Juel Taylor's sci-fi mystery comedy, they clone Tyrone.

The film tells the story of Fontaine, Slick Charles, and Yo-Yo, who discover a cloning conspiracy

and embark on a mission to save their neighborhood.

In addition to They Clone Tyrone, Taylor's other directorial credits include episodes of the series,

20s, Boomerang, and a guy, a girl, and their monster.

Following a screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, Taylor spoke with

director Jordan Vote Roberts about filming they clone Tyrone.
