So who's around the table with me today?

I'm very pleased to introduce to Viv Groskop, writer and broadcaster,

Juno Dawson, the author and Kenya Hunt, deputy editor of Elle magazine.

Welcome to you all. Viv, can I start with you? Because you want to talk about a woman who is safe to say dominating the news at the moment.

Who doesn't want to talk about Teflon, Theresa? Teresa May, our much-loved Prime Minister. Not. Well, the reason I want to talk about Theresa May is because I'm hearing so many women talk about how fascinated they are by her.

Because no woman has ever been in this position before, like political leadership, long-term political

wrangling, hanging on in there by a thread. I mean, it's even difficult to talk about her on

air because we don't know whether she'll still be here by the time we get off air. And I just

find her the most fascinating example of female leadership because I'm always

talking about the fact that we haven't seen that many female role models in leadership because

women have only been able to hold these kind of roles for the last 100 years. And we look at somebody

like Margaret Thatcher or Angela Merkel and they've led in a certain style.

But what Theresa May has had to do is something that we've never ever seen before,

is to hang on in this position with no support whatsoever.

And there's something that's so beguiling for me,

just from a point of curiosity to watch this i'm not a supporter of her as i've

got to say not politically or uh in terms of her any of her life choices but to watch her as a female

role model i think is completely fascinating because i've always thought that in order to have true
