The Bert Show time to get buzzed on the hot goss from Hollywood with Abby. It's the

Bert Show's entertainment bus. People are begging Greta Gerwig to make a sequel of

the blockbuster hit Barbie. But is she going to like this idea? And I knew it. I knew

it's the money grab. This thing has resonated and is connected with so many women though.

Like I feel like a sequel if it's not as deep and connective as this one is just going

to be superficial. I think it would only make sense if they made a sequel centered around

Ken. And it would have to star Ryan Gosling. And I feel like they should hire a director

that would take because a lot of people have been saying like, oh, this is a man bashing

movie. Okay, then make a sequel that focuses on like men's issues. I want to be honest

with you guys. I'm kind of over Barbie. I'm kind of over Ken. However, if you make a

movie about Alan, I'm all in.

That's something everybody could get on board with. So now if you watch the movie, there

is a character Alan. And so in Barbie land, they have some discontinued dolls, right? Alan

was a discontinued doll. He was just a friend and he's just he's he's played by Michael

Sarah. And Michael Sarah does a fantastic job. They also have Midge who was a pregnant Barbie

and she got discontinued as well. Oh, dude, there was another one too. I couldn't believe

this was a Barbie. You raise her hand or her arm and her boobs grow.

Yeah, it was a real bomb. Do you remember the sugar daddy Ken? Yeah. So there's all

like these discontinued dolls and Alan was one of them. Like they just didn't really

the market didn't embrace them. So they just cast them aside, but they still reside in

the Barbie land. Got it. But people love Alan because he's just such an unproblematic

character. He's just out there chilling. He's just Alan. Like Greta Gerwig says she's
