Hey, this is Durey and welcome to Part 2 of the People.

On this episode, we have Marie Haddon, who's running to be the first ever Black queer

older woman in Chicago.

She's also a community organizer.

We have Kina Collins, who's a chairperson of the Illinois Council and women and girls.

We have to start writing policy and including people into this movement and loving them

radically like we have never loved before. Because if we want people to look at us different,

we have to work on the internal work that needs to go on.

But continuing to silence and marginalized groups within the oppressed group

is not going to help us at all.

And we have the news, which you know, it's with me, Brittany, Clint, and Sam.

And before we get it, I'll just say that something's been on my heart, it's like,

go with the love is, it's like, I, what do you people say that go with the love is?

And I just didn't understand it.

And now I'm like, I get it.

That doesn't mean that we don't walk into the risk.

It doesn't mean that we don't challenge to some distractions.

But when I'm thinking about like, where I'm doing my dream work,

where I'm doing my hope work, where I'm trying to make brain storm and like think about how we

transform systems and like do the best that we can do.

Like, I got to go with the love is.

And I used to think that that was like a fluffy idea.
