Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. We are back in the Thrive

Bible so without further ado we're just going to take it from here. Yes y'all let's do it.

Today's devotional is titled like a sweet perfume and the verse is second Corinthians

2.14 and it says this. But thank God he has made us his captives and continues to lead us along

in Christ triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere

like a sweet perfume. The love letter from God says, beloved child, I have the ability to fill you

with so much of my beauty that others can't help but see that you have been with me.

Love others in a way that reflects me and your presence will be like the sweet aroma of heaven

to their souls. Connect your heart to mine and you will experience what it's like to breathe

in the beauty of heaven on earth. I will fill you so you can go fill others with the glorious

scent of salvation. Love your heavenly Father. The reflection says, the most expensive perfume in

the world pales in comparison to the aroma of Christ that follows us when we walk with him.

When we're in the presence of Jesus his sweet heavenly perfume covers us. We are then able to

fill a room with his scent like the smell of flowers on a warm summer breeze. Go into his presence

so others can experience his beautiful fragrance on you. The treasure of truth says,

the sweetest perfume pales in comparison to the presence of God.

Yeah, this is pretty convicting for me because there is that one line for the devotional that said,

love others in a way that reflects me and I started to feel like, okay, yes, I need to do that.

But what am I doing in its place? I'm either loving people in a way that reflects my own pride

or my own glory or my own just self or I'm not receiving the love of Christ in a way

that is allowing me to reflect any love because I'm not receiving it in the first place and we
