Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. Good morning indeed. We are picking back up in the Thrive Bible without further ado towards going to take it from here.

Yes y'all let's do it. Today's devotional is titled a heavenly perspective and the verses out of Genesis 15-5 and it says this.

Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. The love letter from God says, beloved child, I want you to take a moment to look up at the heavens.

Ask yourself if there is anything you are concerned about right now that is bigger than I am. You are my beautiful creation and I am the creator of heaven and earth.

There is nothing in this world that I cannot handle. I want to give you my perspective on your problems.

If you meditate more on my power than your limitations, you will begin to see that there is no need for you to fear what is happening now or in the future.

Your time is too valuable to wear yourself out with the troubles that this life brings. It's time for you to rise above your circumstances and live like the child of the king you truly are.

Love your heavenly Father. The reflection says, it's amazing how small our problems become when we see a bigger picture than our own little world around us.

Even more so when we look at how big our God is compared to the cares of this world. If he can create the stars in the sky, he can conquer anything that concerns us.

The treasure of truth says, a heavenly perspective gives us the power to persevere through anything.

Yeah, emphasis on the word anything. Something I was feeling as you were reading was that I believe this devotional to be true whenever things are great.

But whenever the, excuse my French, but the crap hits the fan is when I start to lose a little faith or lose a little trust or lose my eternal God perspective on things.

And so this really challenged me to think because honestly just in full transparency.

Touring life had a harder past, would you say four days? Yeah, yeah.

Harder past four days with the newborn. And then you kind of get exposed a little bit when things are hard.

You, you see how you really would react. And it almost feels like I'm seeing what I'm made of because I'm currently being pressed or crushed right now.

And I don't, not trying to sound dramatic, but it's just like, you know, running on lack of sleep with the baby, learning how to try to calm him down when I don't understand what he wants.

And then also trying to maintain work or just whatever.

It's really been a season or the past few days rather that I've, I've seen what I made up and I honestly I didn't like it because when everything was going really, really well.

I'm like, oh, yeah, I got so much faith. I got so much trust. I got so much of an eternal perspective that God is bigger. He can do it.

And then, you know, things get a little harder. And I start to say, God, why are you allowing this to happen to me? Yeah.

God, will you help? Will you, God, will you please calm down my son? I don't know what to do. And, and that was a great little reminder for me in this devotional too.
