Summary

Jesus came to demonstrate a life of divine fellowship, carry us back into that life of divine fellowship and share that life of divine fellowship until you and I became what were designed to be. We’re beginning to understand that the incarnation of the word of God was about fixing our broken perspectives of the nature of the Father.

Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. I want to jump into sort of a tie-in tonight regarding Theosis and the incarnation.

So we're going to talk about theosis and the incarnation.

Theosis is a word that was coined by St. Gregory of Nazionzus,

who was a Bishop of Constantinople, he coined the phrase Theosis as a bit of a gift to help

us understand what God was actually saving us for.

And what God was saving us for was not simply

so that we could experience heaven in the afterlife.

He was saving us for glory.

He was saving us for a shared glory,

and he was saving us in order to infuse us with everything that's necessary for us to become a new
