0:20.8	revelations. Number one being beholding is the means of becoming. Quick review. Number two,
0:28.0	you and I are mesmerizing to the merchant. All right? We learned that the treasure in the field that heaven sold everything to buy is you and I.
0:39.3	We are treasure in the field.
0:40.7	We're mesmerizing to the merchant and once we begin to receive that
0:45.1	revelation in on an incarnational level we then also receive grace to be able to sustain the gaze and beholding then becomes the
1:00.0	means of becoming and so we're going to aim at what interferes with beholding.
1:06.6	Because beholding is the means of becoming. And it can't just be a coming and
1:11.4	going gaze, but there has to be some level of us beginning to understand
1:16.8	that our gaze is becoming locked, our vision is becoming fixed.
1:22.6	Isaiah 41 says it like this, you are my servant, I have chosen you, I have not rejected you, do not
1:28.0	yield to fear for I am always near.
1:31.0	Never turn your gaze from me.
1:33.0	For I am your faithful, God, I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation.
1:39.0	I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
1:42.0	I grip your right hand and I will not let go. I whisper
1:45.8	to you, do not be afraid for I'm here to help you. Listen to this, never turn your gaze
1:51.5	from me. For I am your faithful God and I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation
1:58.0	So what we're going to do tonight is we're going to begin to go a little bit more deeply into not just that
2:05.1	beholding is the means of becoming, but what you and I are actually becoming on
2:10.5	the other side of beholding. That revelation is what the Orthodox church for years
2:15.2	has referred to as Theosis.
