Summary

The recent documentary, “Hillsong: A Mega Church Exposed,” utterly fails in its attempt to bring God’s true judgment to charlatans such as Brian Houston and Carl Lentz. This is because pagans are not fit to execute just judgments regarding spiritual matters.

“When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church?”‭‭

0:34.7	Many of you are aware that a very popular documentary has dropped. It's gotten a lot of
0:40.6	attention called Hillsong, a mega church exposed. But the reality is there's a lot more that needs to be
0:46.3	exposed. And it needs to be exposed by those who are fit to expose it. And I know that sounds self-serving.
0:53.7	Maybe I'll put more of that on Justin. He's the one
0:56.0	who's fit. But I think by God's grace, I'm fit to expose these things to him. And what I primarily
1:00.6	mean about that is not that Justin and I are the only Christians fit, but Christians are fit.
1:06.8	We don't need pagans to render judgments about spiritual matters.

1:13.1	So Discovery Plus is a secular organization.
1:17.3	It's a secular group.
1:19.2	And I'm sure that they got many things correct, that many things are accurate in their documentary.
1:26.2	But this is the very thing that Paul condemns in
1:30.4	1 Corinthians chapter 6, where he says, you guys are going to court, taking one another to court,
1:36.5	and Paul's not just condemning their fleshly carnal desires that they're not willing to, you know,
1:41.5	just why not rather be wronged and just allow your brother to,
