Todd McFarland, Todd Mighty McFarland, he gave a 1993 interview where he expressed his views

on all things, variants, on spin-off books on rival publishers

he is never without a compelling opinion and you'll be surprised to find that many of the things

that todd is sharing in 1993 are not the way he feels and and and does not reflect the actions of what

he is doing today but that is the fun of then and now we get to look back 30 years what we were

Now, I always struggle with how much should I tell you about who I am at the top of this show because so many of you have followed my work over the years, but there's always the new listener.

And what I was taught, the most important thing that I was taught when I was at Marvel Comics very early on was to spoon feed the reader.

The editor-in-chief, literally, the EIC himself, Tom DeFalco told me in 1989, you got to spoon-feed

the reader, Rob.

You got to treat them like the third grade and give them the most basic information up front so they understand.

Okay, so I'm going to spoon feed you and tell you that I have been making comic books for 37 years.
