Summary

Today was a long and lumpy stage with a brutal finish. Most of us were spending a portion of the race trying to figure out why Wout Van Aert chose to go off the front, which eventually led to time lost. We got a good look at the youngest rider in the tour, American, Quinn Simmons. On the final sprint, Tadej Pogacar put a stamp on this tour, suggesting that no one can go with him on the climbs, and also will find himself in yellow going into the first mountain stage tomorrow.
