Summary
It started with a boy—small, silent, standing at the foot of the bed in old-fashioned clothes. Then came the footsteps in the hallway, the rattling doorknob, the shadow in the mirror, and the phone sliding across the nightstand as if an unseen hand wanted attention. Everyone in the group lost sleep. Everyone felt watched. And by the fourth night, one of them was running inside with a sudden nosebleed—and the overwhelming sense he wasn’t alone by the pool.
When the group finally left, the pressure in their chests lifted instantly… as though something in that condo stayed exactly where it belonged.
