Ah! Hall of Horrors. In the late 1800s, two spinsters, the Fox sisters,

became uncannily aware of their ability to talk with spirits

when they moved into a farm near Rochester, New York.

Every night at precisely 1145, they were disturbed by unexplainable, loud, harsh, rapid.

I think it's a spirit or something.

They decided to try to contact the something.

Let's all hold hands and just concentrate.

They stared into the darkness, and at exactly 1145, a pallid figure appeared.

My name is Charles Rosner.

A man named Beck murdered me.

Please find my body and bury me.

Please.

The sisters told their neighbors about the strange incident.

The basement was dug up.

The volunteer grave figures found nothing.

But in 194, years after the Fox sisters were dead, they made headlines again. Their farm had been sold

and it was being torn down when between two stone walls a skeleton was found. On November 23rd,

194, the Boston Journal printed this story. The skeleton of a man, supposed to have caused the rapping first heard by the Fox Sisters in 1848,

has been found in the walls of the house formerly owned by the sisters.
