So I started talking to hunters about five to eight years ago, and they're like, and I'm asking him, hey, where do you watch your hunting shows?

Where do you, and more and more hunters kept telling me YouTube, YouTube, YouTube.

I don't watch it on normal TV anymore.

And I've watched a few of Kurt's videos and can say, I wouldn't put myself in some places that Kurt has been. So I'm excited to talk to him today about that. how are you doing? I'm great, Dusty. Thanks for having me on, man. I appreciate you.

Really looking forward to it. So give me the origin story of the channel. How did Western

Obsessions TV come to be? Yeah. So I've always been quite entrepreneurial. But when I say entrepreneurial,

doesn't mean that was successful at it, but I always tried to own my own stuff, had my own

businesses. And I did that since some early in 20s. And I hit about 40 years old, which I think is a

point for a lot of men that they kind of freak out a little bit. So I had my little freak out.

I call it my midlife adjustment. I'd call it a crisis because it seems a little bit too much.

But I had a big midlife adjustment, man, and I made a huge change in my life. I didn't really like

how my life was shaping out. I didn't like my day-to-day stuff and how I was spending time

in my life. So I just one day like my day-to-day stuff and how I was spending time in my

life. So I just, one day I chose, you know what, I had a bunch of little businesses, so I

sold anything I could, made any kind of money out of it of like selling my actual businesses

to get out of them, closed businesses, and just got rid of everything to be able to go on cool hunting
