Summary

The annual Year in Review series is back, but it starts off worse for the wear with Andy battling a stomach bug and Brendan having the kids at home for an unexpected “snow” day off following the Thanksgiving vacation. So plans are cut short and this Part 1 gets us through the first few events of 2022. The episode begins as always with Kapulua, where preferred lies were in play, Phil and Bryson were scheming, scores were low, Notah had his level, and a new metric for gauging elevation change was developed on the broadcast. This is the usual SGS approach to the year in review, focusing more on the amusing, inane, and extraordinary and it will continue to roll out over the next couple weeks in multiple parts to be enjoyed at your convenience during the holiday season.

0:45.0	Brendan, I wish I could say I was doing well, but it's been a tough morning. I've been fighting a stomach bug.
0:53.0	Do you get ribs in Scotland again? Is that what happened here?
0:57.0	I don't know.
0:59.0	Last time I saw you like this in July.
1:03.0	I might be shooting blanks today. It's been a terrible morning.
1:09.0	But you know, this year review doesn't do itself, so I got myself up off the mat and we're recording.
1:16.0	All right, yeah, I am a diastrates myself. My kids are home for school for the sixth straight day.
1:23.0	It feels like they haven't had a full five day week in the entire month of November, and it's going to end that way.
1:28.0	This one was not planned. However, because, well, a plane, and I just don't want to offend anyone, the people involved in this were fine.
1:36.0	They're fine. So just they were well, they're probably not fine, but they're alive and well.
1:42.0	A little prop plane ran into a power lines and power station and wiped out power for like 100,000 people in the county.
1:51.0	And the schools decided to close on Sunday night, like 11, 30, they closed the schools.
1:57.0	I woke up at six, said schools closed the day. Actually, they didn't email us till seven.
2:02.0	They go to Catholic school. They go to people showed up.
2:07.0	That's what I'm wondering. I go to Catholic school. Kids do, and they just usually follow the county.
2:11.0	And you know, they said, you know, we follow the county for snow, for snow. This isn't a snow thing.
2:17.0	We got some guy who thinks he's top god flying his little prop plane and just stuck.
