And I'm Charlene. And we are at the Yacht Harbor again, and as you can hear, 2023. I'm Gail and I'm Charlene and we are at the Yacht Harbor again and as you can hear there are some people ambling by this is a very popular walking spot and since our storm systems have been going through today happens to be a not rainy day so there will be lots of people taking the opportunity to walk.

Yeah, it's usually a little bit quieter in this location, but there are people out and about.

You've probably heard about the big storm systems that have been going through California.

Well, we're still here.

We're making it through. and I think the worst of the storms has passed I know there's still some

rain coming but I think the worst storms have passed so yes people are out and

about just anxious to get some fresh air these days.

Yeah, I understand that.

Thank you to everybody who checked in with us to see how we were doing during the storms.

Luckily, neither of us suffered any damage, although Charlene, I didn't even tell you.

Behind our house is a big green space.

We call it the gorge, and there's a big area between us and the house across the gorge

from us.

And on the other side of the gorge are many eucalyptus trees.

And several of them fell a couple nights ago and knocked down our neighbor's fence, so directly

next to us, and then two houses down from that

one hit their house oh so yeah we get lucky there eucalyptus trees are very very tall and they fall down

a lot they do they're not native to this part of california no so but storms are at the moment done. So what are you wearing? Well, because it has been
