On August 17, 2019, Nancy Magana was sitting inside of a pickup truck with her boyfriend

and five-year-old son

at a park in San Bernardino, California, when out of nowhere, a group of men pulled up

alongside them in a light-colored sedan. Saying nothing, but moving with deadly speed, two of the

men got out of the car, and one, taking out a high

powered firearm, pointed it through the driver's side window. No words were exchanged, no demands made,

but when the trigger was pulled, the 25-year-old middle school teacher was fatally injured.

The whole thing was captured on surveillance

footage. Her boyfriend and son survived the horrific exchange, but Nancy died inside of the hospital.

There was no rhyme or reason for the attack. It wasn't a robbery. She wasn't targeted by someone she knew,

nor was her boyfriend.
