who work in museums.

Because there's the museum that everyone else gets to see, the exhibits, the dioramas, I love them all, don't get me wrong.

But behind the scenes, there's a whole cabinet of wonder that only a few people get to see.

And if you play your cards right, you can get an invitation to the real deal,

the Museum's Museum, full of archives and things neatly lined up in drawers with handwritten tags. A behind the scenes tour of a museum

is the greatest way to spend an afternoon. Bar not.

This is why I really enjoy the podcast, Cidor, produced by the Smithsonian Institute in DC and hosted by

Lizzie P. Body.

They feature stories from the more than 154 million treasures in the Smithsonian

Archives about art, science, and history.
