I had a question recently regarding the 5-2 diet, which basically is what I think is the worst

So let's start with the worst intermittent fasting pattern.

It's called the 5-2 diet.

It's also called the fast diet.

And this is how it works.

So for five days, you're going to eat your normal foods, whatever that means.

And then for two days, you're going to go on a low calorie diet, 500 calories per day.
