Hey, friends. Welcome back. It is time for the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to

get your mind aligned with the truth of God's Word today. Today we're going to be jumping

back into the Book of John. Chapter 12 will be looking at verses 17 through 19. But

before we get there, I want you just to remind you why we do the morning mindset. We are

trying to get our thoughts aligned with the thoughts of God Himself, the creator of all

that exists, the one who rules over every little moment of history in your life and in

mind. We want to think like he thinks so that we can assess and evaluate the things that

happen in our life today, according to his wisdom, and align our lives with his will in

those things. That is how we can live a Christian life in the power of the Holy Spirit. So

today is we look at John chapter 12 verses 17 through 19. It says, the crowd that had been

with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued

to bear witness. So let's remind ourselves what's talking about here. Jesus had come to

the tomb of his friend Lazarus who had died and he raised Lazarus back to life. And so

people who were there with him when that happened are continuing to tell others about what had

taken place. Verse 18 continues, it says, the reason why the crowd went to meet him was

that they had heard that he had done this sign. So the Pharisees said to one another. Now

remember, the Pharisees are the ones who are opposing Jesus more and more strongly all

the time. They said to one another, you see that you're gaining nothing. Look, the world has

gone after him. So these opponents of Jesus are getting kind of frustrated because the miracles

that he's doing are undeniable and the crowd knows it. So the people are coming after him. They're

wanting to see more of the same, more miracles. They're wanting to hear his teaching. They're

wanting to move in the direction that he is moving and his opponents are getting very frustrated.
