Psalm 103 and James 4.

Now we are in our, this is our seventh session, I believe, of a series we began

called the works and the ways of Jesus. We began simultaneously with this reading the New Testament

through together as a church. We read one chapter

every day, Monday through Friday. And why not more chapters? You might say, well, several

reasons. One, you know, if you try to do too much, you know, people all the time, they bite off a big thing,

they make a big commitment and are not able to keep it for whatever reasons. They don't.

And then they're condemned. Don't make a commitment of something that you don't fully intend to

keep. It hurts your words. It hurts your faith. And not only that, if you try to read too

much at one time, sometimes you're just scanning it, your speed reading it, you're not getting

enough out of it. So we're saying, take your time, read it carefully, read it slowly. If you want to

read it again in another translation or something, and we're looking to see Jesus.

We want to see him how he operates, how he responds.

We want to learn his works, not just his works, but his ways,

how he does things because that's our example.

There's not a better example.

So would you turn there? You've got your place in Psalm 103.
