I would like to speak today concerning the topic of angels. Angels are very important to

Christian's life. I know that at Hungry Jen, we hear about deliverance from demons, but angels

are mentioned more than demons. Angels are angels in the Bible are mentioned over 273 times in 34 books of the Bible. Angels are spiritual

beings who assist God, especially in his work of salvation, conveying his word to human beings

and attending to the needs of God's people. Angels are called sons of God five times in the

Old Testament. It's interesting because in the New Testament you are called sons of God five times in the Old Testament. It's interesting because in the New Testament, you are called sons and daughters of God.

And so Jesus even said, he says, in heaven we will be like angels. We will not be angels, but we will be like angels.

I call them our spiritual stepsisters or brothers or, well, they don't have gender.

So, but they're part of God's spiritual family right now. And then we are part of God's

redeemed family. And one day we're going to be all together. They're powerful beings. They're

used by God to accomplish his purpose. The reason why I want to address the topic

of angels is because as Christians, we have some misconceptions about angels that I want to

address today in this message. Also, for those of you who are maybe checking out Christianity

There's an obsession with angels in our culture.

There's angel conferences, there's angel cards, there's angel calendars, there's angel shirts.

There is very huge emphasis on spirit guides, angels. I remember I met with the top YouTuber

in the area of makeup. If I mentioned her name, every girl will know her. And she recently just

gave her life to Christ. And even recently just gave her life to Christ.
