and a blessed new year. Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the gospel truth. Today I'm continuing to teach

on the word became flesh. This is a series that I made many years ago. There's five teachings in this.

What I'm teaching here on television is kind of an abbreviated version of this, but I tell you, it's

really good.

This is powerful stuff, and this explains so many things that the average person does not

understand about God.

Last week, I started this series, and I spent a lot of time countering what I call an extreme

sovereignty of God teaching to where God just controls everything.

Nothing happens but what He wills.

That's not what the Word of God teaches.

I used a lot of scriptures to verify that.

And because God doesn't just control us like a chess piece and move us and everything is happening according to his will,

that gives explanation as to why it took 4,000 years for Jesus to show up because he had to

flow through us. God gave us control over this earth and when we yielded that control to the devil,

the devil started messing the whole thing up and there was resistance

and it took 4,000 years for the Lord to speak through people to give the prophecies about how

Jesus could come to this earth. That's how he created Adam in the first place, is to speak

him into existence. He had to speak the second Adam into existence,

but he wasn't in total control then because he had given the control to man. And so he had

to flow through man. And it just took 4,000 years for people to get in line with what God said.
