and a blessed new year. Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the gospel truth. Today I'm beginning my

second week of teaching on the subject of the word made flesh. And I tell you, this is powerful.

There's actually five teachings in here, five hours worth of teaching. I'm kind of teaching it a little bit quicker than what this

is. So this would give an added explanation to it. Plus I've got other materials that go along

with this. You can call our helpline. They'll put the number on the screen. But I'm touching

on a subject that I call the authority of the believer. I've got

a book written about that and then teaching materials on it. I've touched on things that I've

But, you know, we're approaching Christmas now, and there's a lot of talk about the virgin birth of Jesus.

And it is the greatest event that has happened in the history of the universe.

I mean, creating mankind originally, the original creation and creation of Adam and Eve,

is nothing compared to creating the second Adam, Jesus coming here. And what I've been explaining last week, if you've missed any of these programs,

And you need to understand this because the virgin birth of Jesus is absolutely miraculous. It's wonderful. It is awesome. But it increases

the value when you understand why it had to happen. I've made mention of this throughout this

entire series, but this is one of the things I asked as a kid. I mean, I was really young and I said,

why did God have to become a man? I thought about all of the grief, the hurt. You know,
